Hidden gem in the center if Muar. Entrance is via a small road off the main street but signage is clear. Rooms are very small but ok for a short stay. Bathroom adequate size. Surroundings tranquil and relaxing. Lovely cafe on the premises. There is also a restaurant serving Malaysian and western food but did not try. We chose to stay here as they had EV chargers which are difficult to find in Muar. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel at a great price. Recommended.

Booked for the MUO boutique hotel but was given this MUO resort. Was skeptical at first but was surprised at the resort when arrived. It was something unlike the usual hotel as this got more of a kampung style stay. Try to go slow as u reach the entrance bcos u will likely to miss the narrow entrance to the resort. The registration counter is in the cafe (will be better if there is a directional signage). Every room will have a designated parking lot. There are a few ev charger for those driving ev car.

Great place to relax and chill! Kids had a great time exploring the garden and looking at the little animals and play with the cats Just remember to bring mosquitoes repellent!

A nice ambience hotel only that it is far from city. Quiet surprise that the room is not equip with a fridge. Happy that the room having a massage chair.

Cozy and Family-Friendly Getaway in the Heart of Muar I recently stayed at MUO Resort in Muar and had a pleasant and memorable experience. The resort offers a unique mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. The rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and well-equipped with everything we needed—air conditioning, hot showers, and even a hairdryer. What stood out the most was the peaceful environment and spacious outdoor area, which made it perfect for families. The mini zoo was a hit with the kids—rabbits, goats, and deer added a fun and educational element to our stay. It could use a bit more upkeep, but it was still enjoyable overall. The location is also quite strategic. It’s close to town but still quiet enough for a relaxing stay. There’s even a 7-Eleven and clinic nearby, which was super convenient. Overall, MUO Resort is a great choice for a short getaway or family vacation. Friendly staff, cozy rooms, and a touch of kampung charm—definitely worth a visit!

Hotel bersih & parking available for customer. Ada mini zoo dihalaman resort. Tapi ada banyak nyamuk area situ. Other review cakap boleh main basikal free sekitar resort, unfortunately basikal semua rosak & karat. Zuzu coffee dah tutup lama & not available anymore. Ada restaurant je untuk korang lunch/dinner santai-santai

My first time staying at Muo Resort. Good experience at this excellent resort. Feel like living at kampung. Relax, quiet and peaceful. Good location and convenience to find foods - within walking distance.

💚The location is just next to Bei Boutique Hotel and in front of Klinik Asia 24Jam 💚The surrounding beautiful, clean, calming and relaxing 💚The rooms are clean 💚The bed is so comfortable and easy falling sleep 💚The bathroom is a little small but very functionable with hot water and good pressure water 💚The provided basic amenities such as body towel x2, small towel x2, slippers x2, cup x2, mineral bottle x2, kettle, hairdryer, hair and body shampoo, TV channel and free wifi 👍🏻 💚They also have coway machine, easy to make a coffee or refill mineral water The only problem during my staycation is my bathroom lamp “blinking like in the disco club” ONLY happen when you switch on the water heater 😂.. need some maintanence. Also the parking garage space is so narrow, if you drive mpv, better asked for a big space and good luck 😬. Btw its free parking yeah.. Overall, worth it every cents. Definitly will come again👍🏻

- Quick and smooth check-in process - Enjoyed the coffee at the café – well made and relaxing spot - Fun experience watching the animals and playing with the cats. However, some of the animals looked malnourished and could use better care - Bathroom light was flickering - Toilet bowl cover seemed broken and there was a noticeable smell - Ventilation and soundproofing need improvement - Parking is available and organized
